Kaity Bakke

Kaity is a seventeen year old senior at Kingwood Park High School, where she is a part of the National Honor Society and the high school theatre department. Her favorite hobbies are playing her guitar, singing and writing songs, and volunteering with the National Charity League and as a titleholder. She enjoys volunteering with the Special Olympics, The Sunshine Kids, and she is looking forward to doing more work with United Way. She hopes to inform others that even the smallest amount of service can make a huge impact.

Kaity is a very energetic and happy teenager. She loves having fun, but is also very committed to her education and future. She will graduate from high school in May, then go on to study abroad as a foreign exchange student for a year through The Rotary International Club. She will then attend the University of Mississippi, and obtain her Masters in Accountancy. Kaity career goals include working for the federal government as a CPA for the FDIC.

As Miss Teen National US, Kaity hopes to instill in other young woman that beauty truly comes from the inside, and that giving your time and attention to others in need is the greatest reward you can give yourself. Standing proudly at just 5’1”, Kaity never imagined she’d have to opportunity to be a national titleholder. She would like every young lady to know that anything is possible if you believe in yourself, and that you will never find a rainbow if you are looking down!
